Reconfigurable Jack Up Barge

Hiap Shing has just taken delivery of its “reconfigurable” jack up barge. This is the latest addition to its current fleet of vessels.

The “reconfigurable” jack up barge is made up of 9 units of 40 ft x 8 ft x 8 ft individual container-like modules. Each jack up leg is can be extended depending on water depths.

The individual container-like modules makes for easy transportation to any part of the world.

Once assembled, it can act as a temporary jetty jack up above water suitable for Mother Vessels to come alongside it.

Or it can be configured as a horizontal jetty extending out to sea.
